We are delighted to be joined by Newcastle based author and academic Dr. Alex Lockwood who will be reading from his latest novel The Chernobyl Privileges and presenting a talk: "Colours of Chernobyl: How Artists, Writers and Creatives have responded to the disaster." Alex will explore the success of the recent hit HBO Series Chernobyl, as well as looking at how some of the region's artists portray the people who survived Chernobyl, and the recent history of world's greatest ever human-made disaster. Alex will be talking from XXpm, followed by a Q&A.  He will also be selling copies of the book with profits going to charity Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline.
